What you need to know!

What is Quilting Teriapy?

Quilting Teriapy is my approach to quilting that focuses on fun, laughter, and stitches. It’s a relaxed, welcoming space where you can learn, create, and enjoy the process without pressure.

Where is your studio located?

My studio is located in French Valley, California (Temecula Valley area). Exact address and directions are provided when you book a class or session.

What kinds of workshops do you offer?

I offer private one-on-one workshops including:

  • Beginner Quilting

  • Memory T-Shirt & Keepsake Planning

  • How to Quilt a Dream Big Panel

  • Sit-n-Sew / open creative sessions

  • Longarm Machine Introduction

Do I need experience to take a class?

Not at all! Many of my workshops are designed for beginners. You’re welcome whether you’re brand new to quilting or already have experience.

What is the Longarm Machine Introduction class?

This is a private 90-minute session where I introduce you to my HQ Infinity 26 longarm. You’ll learn how the machine works in my studio so you feel comfortable when renting. I handle all setup, threading, tension, and maintenance — you get to focus on the creative side.

Do I have to take the Introduction class before renting the longarm?

Yes. The Introduction class is required before renting machine time so you feel confident and we can make sure everything goes smoothly.

How much does longarm rental cost?

Longarm rental is $25 per hour and includes thread, needles, designs, and my on-site support during your session.

Can you help me turn t-shirts or sentimental clothing into a quilt?

Yes! I offer a Memory T-Shirt & Keepsake Planning Session where we discuss layout, color, design, and the stories behind your fabrics. Optional add-on services are available if you’d like help with construction or finishing.

Do you sell finished/readymade quilts?

Yes. I occasionally have one-of-a-kind finished quilts available, including Hoffman Dream Big panel quilts. Check the shop page for current availability — once a quilt is sold, it’s gone forever.

What forms of payment do you accept?

I accept cash, cashier’s checks, postal money orders, and credit/debit cards through a secure PayPal invoice.

How do I book a class or rental?

You can reach out through the contact form on the website or message me directly to schedule a time that works for you.

What is your cancellation policy for classes and workshops?

Cancellations made at least 72 hours before your scheduled class will receive a full refund or the option to reschedule. Cancellations made less than 72 hours in advance may be subject to a partial refund or rescheduling fee. No-shows are non-refundable.

What is your cancellation policy for longarm rentals?

Please provide at least 72 hours’ notice if you need to cancel or reschedule a rental session. Cancellations with less than 72 hours’ notice may result in loss of the deposit or minimum rental fee. I’m always happy to work with you when possible — just reach out as soon as you can.

What happens if a class or rental needs to be cancelled due to circumstances beyond our control?

In the event of unexpected situations beyond anyone’s control — such as severe weather, natural disasters, power outages, illness, or other emergencies — either of us may need to cancel or reschedule. In these cases, you’ll be offered a full refund or the opportunity to reschedule at no extra charge. Your safety and peace of mind always come first.

What should I bring to a workshop?

It depends on the class. Some workshops include materials, while others ask you to bring your own project or fabrics. Specific details are provided when you book.
